Delete your account
Official deletion channel for the RakeScan app
You can request deletion of your RakeScan account (which is a BookToCash account) and the data associated with it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Write an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account".
- Send it from the email address your account is registered with (that's how we verify it's you; no other verification needed).
- We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (email, name, address, payment preference)
- Your scan history and trigger settings
- Any shelf photos you uploaded
- Your sign-in sessions on all devices
What we may keep
If you completed book sales to BookToCash, records of those transactions (order, shipment and payment records) are retained for the period required by accounting, tax and legal obligations, then deleted. They are no longer linked to an active account.
